Andrićgrad is the structure dedicated to our Nobel Prize winner (Ivo Andric) with the idea to combine outstanding historical periods in our country, to promote tourism, culture, art, peace, equality among people, races and sexes, spread literacy and nobility, and connect and unite the nations, regions and the world.

The city is built of stoneS and it has about fifty buildings. The town has a municipal theater, a modern cinema, the city administration, the Academy of Fine Arts, the building Andric gymnasium, inland marina and pier, hotel, squares, churches, the old inn, shops and memorial house of Ivo Andric. It is located on a peninsula between the Drina and Rzav rivers, some 300 meters away from the Višegrad bridge
